Our Process
Site Visit & Survey
It all starts with a site visit! Once you’ve contacted us our landscape designer will schedule a site visit to meet with you in person. As part of the consultation process, the design team will go over your needs as well as survey your existing landscape.
This visit can be as hands-on as you feel comfortable, but our goal is to fully understand your wants and needs to best serve you.
There is a $75 site visit fee.
Conceptual Design
& Estimate
After the initial site visit, our landscape expert will begin the design process. The information provided at the consultation will set the scope of the project so that an in-depth estimate can be provided.
Not all projects require conceptual designs, however, pencil drawings or detailed conceptual designs can be provided. The price for drawings & designs starts at $150 + .
Approval & Scheduling
Once the estimate has been approved and a 50% down payment received, your project start date will be scheduled. Time lines can vary based on material availability, logistics of your project as well as any necessary coordination with third party contractors (i.e. Hardscapes).
Additional factors such as weather can cause delays, but we will always keep you in the loop.
Installation
Prior to breaking ground on your project, Sunshine 811 will be contacted to mark your public utilities. (They do not contact you prior to arrival). If you would like private utilities marked, that is the responsibility and expense of the homeowner.
