Groundcovers play a pivotal role in erosion control and weed prevention.  Aside from the ecological benefits, groundcovers are the perfect way to spruce up and beautify the areas of your garden where grass or other plants struggle to grow, such as under the canopy of trees.  For shady areas under trees, we recommend Ajuga or Peacock Ginger for their low growing habit and beautiful coloring.   In full sun areas, our native groundcovers, Sunshine Mimosa or Perennial Peanut cannot be outdone for their heat and drought tolerance.  

Vines are the ideal way to accent and enhance vertical spaces in your garden such as gazebos, fences, mailboxes, arbors or odd corners.  Some vines offer year round foliage and color, such as Confederate Star Jasmine; whereas others are annuals (Mandevilla) or perennial (Native Honeysuckle).  Whichever you choose, vines are the cherry on top of the design for your garden.
